Weekly math mentorship

Math Mentorship

A Tuesday and Thursday afternoon mentorship program for students who need a thoughtful place to bring homework, questions, puzzles, projects, and mathematical ideas worth staying with.

What Happens Here

Support with room for real thinking.

Math Mentorship is built for the mixed reality of mathematical life: sometimes a child needs help with schoolwork, sometimes they need a richer problem, and sometimes they need someone to listen carefully to how they are thinking.

Bring what is live

Students can bring homework, questions from school, contest problems, personal projects, or ideas they want to understand better.

Work beside others

The studio gives students a shared mathematical atmosphere while preserving focused time for the questions and goals each student brings.

Build a steadier relationship

The goal is confidence with substance: clearer thinking, better habits, and more trust in the student's own mathematical voice.

Who It Is For

For students who need a little more mathematical room.

This can be a fit for students who are catching up, reaching ahead, feeling anxious, feeling bored, or simply wanting a regular place where mathematical questions are welcome.

The work is responsive rather than scripted. We start from what the student brings, then choose problems, explanations, and next steps with care.

What Students Practice

Habits that travel beyond the program.

Homework help without turning math into hurry

Room for puzzles, projects, and deeper questions

A calm studio rhythm for building confidence and fluency

Practical Questions

Practical details about Math Mentorship.

These answers cover the most common questions before enrollment. The Policies & FAQ page has the shared studio terms.

Is Math Mentorship tutoring or enrichment?

It can include both. Students may bring homework, a difficult school concept, or a foundation they want to strengthen. They can also pursue puzzles, projects, and richer questions. The ongoing relationship lets the balance respond to what the student needs.

Is the session individual or shared?

Each student receives individualized guidance and focused time with an instructor within the shared atmosphere of the studio. It is not a conventional class moving everyone through the same lesson, and it is not necessarily one child alone in the room for the entire session.

How long is each session?

Students attend one focused 45-60 minute session each week. The exact Tuesday or Thursday time is arranged after the intro visit.

Will my child have a consistent weekly time?

Yes. Enrollment reserves an agreed weekly place on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.

Can students join after September?

Yes. Math Mentorship uses rolling enrollment, so students can begin later in the year when an appropriate Tuesday or Thursday time is available.

How does cancellation work?

Membership renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Partial months and missed sessions are not refunded.
